Marissa Jacques, Director

Hi, I’m Marissa, I’m the one who will be helping you to achieve your career goals! With a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management), Graduate Diploma of Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology, I am a qualified HR Professional and Psychologist.

Having worked in HR advisory roles across the private sector as well as local and state government, I’ve spent many years on the frontline of recruitment assessing resumes, shortlisting candidates and sitting on interview panels. I know recruitment and selection processes inside out and use this knowledge to help my clients get to interview and get the role!

In 2012 I created My Dream Job and have put my heart and soul into helping my clients achieve their career goals via my resume and cover letters, selection criteria and interview coaching services.  I’ve assisted clients after a career change, helped parents return to the workforce, supported the long-term unemployed, those facing redundancies, those who have worked for the same employer for decades, school leavers, graduates, executives and many more! Nursing, teaching, mining and government are my specialist areas but I have written resumes for almost every profession.

I offer a personalised approach to customer service and an empathetic nature, ensuring that I listen to and understand my client, their motivations and requests. My psychology background assists to improve confidence, motivation and self-esteem. I am a perfectionist and deliver the highest standards of work on time, every time.
